The City of Manistee comes alive as a magical Christmas Wonderland. You'll have a unique opportunity to take a step back in time and enjoy an entire weekend filled with excitement. Chestnuts roasting on open fires on the street corners (it's always nice to grab a few to put in your pocket - just to keep your hands warm!). The sounds of sleigh bells echo the streets. Draft horses pulling sleighs filled with folks enjoying the festivities. Snow gently falling from the sky. Children waiting patiently for Santa to make his appearance in the parade, along with the 70+ ft decorated Christmas tree that will grace the streets through the Chistmas season.
Festivities include a special Christmas production at the historic Ramsdell Theatre, Festival of Trees, Gingerbread House contest, concerts, museum and art exhibits, and much more.
